Enjoy them while they're still around. The modern 401 shield no longer includes the famous blue and while M-C. The reason: The MTO no longer refers to the 401 as the "Macdonald-Cartier Freeway", the name given to accompany the number when the 401 was nearing it's completion in the late 1960's. Sigh.
