The Eastern terminus of the Gardiner Expressway features in this somewhat grim study of the Toronto Portlands taken from the CN Tower.

The ramps linking to - and marking the beginning of - the Don Valley Parkway (DVP) shoot off the Gardiner and straight accross the center of the photo. Meanwhile Gardiner Eastbound traffic that did not join the DVP soon finds itself grounded off the elevated freeway down to Lake Shore Boulevard.
